How to Navigate MSP Modules

Navigating a new type of Internet environment can be intimidating. The good news is that once you’ve read through this short orientation, you’ll be able to move easily through any Module on the MSP site; from here on, the navigation will always be the same.

You will have a choice of navigating Modules by either using dropdown menus at the top of each page or the Module menu on the right side of the page.

Navigating with Glossary Terms and Hyperlinks

You will encounter hypertext links throughout Module text. These hypertext links are distinguished as light green text, and clicking on them will typically open a new browser window containing a Module Glossary Term or information related to the Module on an external website (click the links for examples). When you have finished viewing such content, simply close the new browser window and resume navigating through the Module.

Using “Check Your Thinking” Questions

“Check Your Thinking” questions are scattered throughout Modules to provide you with some practice. Following each question is a check-mark; to view some possible answers to a question, click on the check-mark, as in the example below:

How can you find the answer to this question?

The answer will open in a new window. When you have finished reviewing an answer, simply close the new browser window and resume navigation.
